Facial Recognition

Facial Recognition

Facial Recognition is at the forefront of today’s technology. It is increasingly used in South-East Asia as the key method for security, attendance and access control and other forms of personnel tracking. It is the preferred recognition method over fingerprint as there is no need for users to physically touch the machine, leading to better hygiene and less wear and tear of the machine. Most of our clients who use facial recognition have no issues with their attendance or access control devices.

Keypad

Keypad

Pinentry/Keypad is the most basic and oldest method which is still commonly used across all kinds of access control. By entering a pin number on the device, it allows a registered user to enter the office or perform a clock-in. Most of the clocks we provide have this feature as a fail-safe in case the biometrics persistently do not work for the user. There are some industries where fingerprints can be worn out due to heavy construction work or chemical processes, or when the user is elderly and have fingerprints that are naturally worn out.

Fingerprint

Fingerprint

The fingerprint clocking method is still preferred by some because of fast registration and use. Most of our facial recognition clocks also come with a fingerprint option that work as a double-biometric clocking method. This is a handy feature for companies who may have many employees and would want to just ‘tap and go’ with their biometrics, instead of having a queue at the door when the machine is trying to verify the user’s face.

Card

Card

The RFID card is commonly used for organisations with policies that require card use for access control or attendance. Three types of the most commonly used RFID cards are Electromagnetic (EM), MiFare and HID. There are also other specialised cards such as the SSID cards used in public service. We have recommended and customised the hardware required for the organisation’s cards. We are also a supplier of printed and customised cards which are tailored to include the organisation’s logo with employee pictures and ID numbers.
